Summer has arrived!
The return of warmer temperatures brings the opportunity for freedom, relaxation, exploration, and being closer to nature. Whether you're relaxing in the backyard, working in your garden, playing in the pool, or exploring the great outdoors, here are some ways to help keep you and your family healthy this spring and summer.
Beware of Bugs
Warmer temperatures aren't just attractive to people, but to mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas. To prevent these illnesses, use an appropriate insect and tick repellent and apply it properly. Prime mosquito-biting hours are usually from dusk to dawn, but ticks are out at all times. Young ticks are so small that they can be difficult to see, but both young and adult ticks hungrily look to animals and sometimes people to bite.
ut Us
We are a Nurse Practitioner owned and led clinic, which means you will be seen by Keri L. Sutton, ANP-C, owner and operator of our clinic. Nurse Practioners practice using a more hollistic approach and generally spend more time with each patient developing a deeper relationship and understanding of a patients health needs and concerns.
Recent studies have indicated that patients treated by Nurse Practitioners have patient outcomes equal to and in most cases better than those treated by other medical professionals.
Our philosiphy is to take great care of every patient regardless of their pay source. That is why we offer inexpensive fees for those patients without insurance who have to pay out of their own pocket for their medical expenses. For more information on "Cash Paying" fee schedule, you can view those fees under the "Information for Patients" tab above.
